Casa Morera is part of the original farmhouse with private access and parking and has been sympathetically converted into a spacious, peaceful, 2 bedroom accommodation. The rustic style of building, traditional to Andalucia, has been carefully preserved during the renovation. The house has high beamed ceilings and old clay tile floors through out.
The large open plan kitchen / living room has a wood burning stove for the cooler winter evenings and is comfortably furnished with local wooden furniture. The living room area has a sofa, coffee table, cupboard space and a television with Free to air Sky. The kitchen is well equipped including washing machine and micro wave oven and has a rustic wooden table and chairs, French dresser and tiled work surfaces. From here you can go through into the large stone paved patio and flower-filled garden. The large garden has a dry stone wall running round it enclosing a sunken stone-paved patio with an old Moorish bread oven, a barbecue and outside furniture for dinning “al fresco”. The view from here is breathtaking out across the meadow to Jimena village rolling down the hill side.
The master bedroom has a wooden double bed, traditionally tiled built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. The twin bedroom is furnished similarly except that it has 2 single wooden beds. The bathroom is tiled in the traditional blue and white tiles and has a full length bath with shower attachment, wash basin and toilet. Both towels and bed linen are provided
The large swimming pool, with it’s enclosed patio and gardens are available for use by all the guests at the Cortijo Roman as are the surrounding terraces, gardens and cloister court.
