The cortijo, farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, a romantic veranda looking over the olive groves, a spacious,double height sitting and dining room, large kitchen and more patios and terraces around the house.
The barn is a seperate self-catering unit for 2. With large spaces and terraces it offers total privacy.
The cortijo and barn are on the finca of 22 hectares so are in a world of thier own. Montanchez peaceful country town is nearby and is famous for jamon, air dred ham, wine , figs and olives.
Within 40kms are the 3 world heritage towns of Caceres, Trujillo and Merida. Full of life, shops, bars and restaurants besides the wonderful historical centres.
Walking and riding in the sierra are possible from the finca, we have 4 horses and 2 donkeys.
The beautiful, unspoilt scenery, good food and wine make this a great centre to explore the Extremadura.
