Our apartment is in the Moorish part of a small typical Spanish working town which nestles under the Safor mountains and is almost surrounded by orange groves that stretch down to the sea.Over 17kms of Blue Flag beaches are available all in pristine condition and reached by car in 5 mins.Just off a small square in a quiet cul de sac of 4 other Spanish owned properties our property has recently been converted from an old traditional townhouse and was featured on A PLACE IN THE SUN TV program.The wide Valencian doorway opens onto an L shaped open plan living area where there are 2 sitting areas, one near the door where you can take in the summer breeze and the other with TV/DVD/CD and cast iron electric fire and reverse air con unit.2 Bedrooms (1 double with ceiling fan and 1 twin both with ample storage)A formal dining area and a well equipped kitchen/diner which opens onto the patio.The modern fully tiled bathroom has bath and shower.Outside there is a high walled private tiled patio with small shrubs and trees, garden furniture and gas bbq.There are basic shopping needs in the town but Gandia and Oliva are full of bars/cafes, shops, supermarkets and other amenities. In this historic part of Spain, there are many castles, palaces, medieval towns and theme/safari parks/water parks to explore. This is the "real Spain" where the Spanish people holiday-it is unspoilt(as yet)& has beautiful scenery, wonderful traditions and customs and is an up and coming part of Spain.
