Orba is a typical Spanish country village in the northern part of the Costa Blanca area, approximately half way between Alicante and Valencia.
The centre of the village is approximately 1Km from the villa and has all the facilities required to support your holiday, including a small supermarket, various shops (bakery, greengrocer etc..), banks, a pharmacy, medical and dental surgeries, plus many bar/restaurants.
Local markets can be found in one or other of the local villages on every day of the week. They vary in size from the simple street market found in Orba itself (great for fruit, vegetables and cheap holiday clothing), to large scale tourist markets in the big towns.
Local attractions include the historic town of Guadalest and the cooling waterfalls at Fonts de l Algar, caves, go-karting. and a zoo.
20 minutes away are the popular beach resorts of Denia and Javea.
Benidorm is around 60 Km away with the major attractions of the Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar Marine Animal park the recently opened Terra Mitica Theme Park and the Benidorm Palace.
